On 22 January, our school held a school-wide Reading Day event. On this day, P.5 students participated in a detective activity, while students from other levels remained on campus to engage in various reading activities. These included watching a folk tale play titled "The Ten Brothers," performed by the teachers in the hall, a half-hour school-wide reading session, and a storytelling competition featuring characters from books, as well as level-specific themed reading and creative activities. Lower primary students explored picture books by Shinseki Yoshitake, Tatsuya Miyanishi, and Yoshifumi Hasegawa, while upper primary students focused on the inter-school reading competition, delving into various fantasy stories. After the holiday, the students' remarkable works will be displayed in the library.
