Last Saturday, our school took seven students to the Hong Kong Cultural Centre to attend the concert Jockey Club “Play Together” Music Dream Project: Kahchun Wong’s Pictures at an Exhibition.
The programme included Wagner’s Tannhäuser Overture, Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition in an arrangement by conductor Kahchun Wong, which featured traditional Chinese instruments.
Our school has always committed to providing students with diverse arts learning opportunities, allowing them to step out of the classroom and experience high-level musical performances first-hand.
Through this activity, students not only broadened their musical horizons but also developed a deeper appreciation for classical music.
We believe that such valuable experiences contribute to the holistic development of our students.
