Our Primary 5 students participated in the " Jockey Club Life Adventure Opportunity Hub " during their Experiential Learning class. The students are currently dedicating themselves to designing innovative products that can help the elderly overcome everyday difficulties.
To ensure the designs are practical and better meet real-life needs, the school specially invited seniors from an elderly centre to our campus for a heartwarming cross-generational exchange. Through face-to-face interactions, the students learned how to communicate with the seniors with respect, patience, and empathy, bringing everyone closer together.
The students also had a great time playing various classic childhood games with the seniors! The event successfully bridged the generational gap and was filled with laughter and joy.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Junior Achievement Hong Kong (JAHK) for their thoughtful arrangement and coordination, as well as to the seniors from the TWGHs Wong Cho Tong District Elderly Community Centre for their enthusiastic participation and valuable sharing.
We look forward to seeing our students unleash their creativity after absorbing the seniors' valuable feedback, ultimately designing thoughtful products that are both practical and full of love! Please stay tuned for their final creations!
