Conservation Education Experience Programme For Youth

Date: 03/07/2024

It is proven that climate change has caused severe impacts on the environment, and one-third of the species around the world may become extinct by 2070. Thus, the threats to animals and ecosystems are growing more dire, and it is becoming an ecological crisis. As global citizens, we can help turn the situation around by taking immediate actions now.
300 students from Primary 4 to 6 are recruited each year to participate in various conservation activities and workshops to gain in-depth knowledge on climate change and biodiversity conservation. The programme cultivates them to become Conservation Youth Leaders to combat climate change together and conserve biodiversity.
Recently, we have also participated in a conservation workshop, which aims to enable the participating students to use the knowledge they have gained to conduct in-depth discussions. The goal is to propose improvement methods and actions on issues such as climate change and ecological conservation, and share them with other pioneers and guests, hoping to disseminate environmental protection information as soon as possible.
