Our school recently held a meaningful life-planning event entitled Career Exploration – Charting Our Future. We were honoured to invite eight parents and professionals from the Drainage Services Department to share valuable insights with our students.
Parents from various industries shared their authentic career experiences and journeys with our Primary 3 to Primary 5 students. Meanwhile, representatives from the Drainage Services Department introduced their daily operations, responsibilities and potential career pathways to Primary 4 and Primary 5 students.
The event was met with great enthusiasm. Students actively raised questions, engaged in lively discussions and demonstrated strong curiosity in exploring different professions.
This eye-opening activity broadened students’ horizons, deepened their understanding of the diverse working world, and helped lay a solid foundation for their future life planning and personal development.
