The Taipei Training and Exchange Tour was held from 26 to 30 September 2026. Combining professional physical training with local cultural experiences, the tour allowed athletes to hone their techniques, enrich their learning experience, and foster personal growth.
The training sessions were held at the standard sports field of Taipei Municipal Yang Ming Senior High School. Systematic training covering the three core athletics categories—running, jumping, and throwing—was organised. The athletes quickly adapted to the new training environment and trained diligently to refine their movement rhythm, power, coordination, and concentration. Through intensive off-site training, the team broke the limits of regular school-based practice, consolidated technical foundations, and nurtured the sporting values of perseverance, self-discipline, and resilience.
Beyond athletic training, teachers and students joined a pineapple cake hand-making workshop. They experienced the craft of traditional pastry production and local food culture, cultivating patience and focus through hands-on work. The group also visited the National Taiwan Science Education Centre. With interactive exhibits and everyday science displays, students expanded their scientific knowledge, achieving a balanced learning experience combining sports and academics.
During the trip, teachers and students explored Taipei night markets to immerse themselves in vibrant local street culture. Students behaved well and observed the environment respectfully. They learned about differences in daily life between places, relieved training stress, and improved their social adaptability and observation skills.
Packed with rewarding activities, the five-day training and exchange tour was a great success. All athletes remained polite, self-disciplined, and supportive of one another, fully demonstrating the fine conduct of Tsoi Wing Sing students. Our school will continue to organise similar learning experiences to support student growth.
