On 23 April, which is World Book Day (4.23), our school organised a range of reading activities both inside and outside of class to encourage students to read different types of books. These activities included a library event "GUESS WHO", subject-specific book recommendations by teachers, and borrowing over 200 books from the public library for student to read. In addition, our school participated in external activities such as the "Hong Kong Reading for All Day – Joint Primary and Secondary School 30-minute Read" event, the “The Hong Kong Inter-school Chinese Reading Competition and Award Ceremony 2023-24” in which we achieved the sixth place and received an Excellence Award, and “Love Our Home, Treasure Our Country” – Story-telling Performance in Putonghua 2024” in which we performed a two-person comedy act.
