Our teachers guided the P.2 students in working on a farm to learn about the principles of organic farming. They actively participated in various farming tasks, which provided them with a hands-on experience that allowed them to immerse themselves in the life of a farmer. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to feed and care for small animals, such as lambs and rabbits. Despite the hot weather, the students persevered.
The activity aimed to familiarize the students with the fundamentals of organic cultivation, enabling them to experience the joy of farming and understand the hard work that goes into it. Through this experience, they would gain an appreciation for the principle of "you reap what you sow" and learn to cherish food.
