Application for 2024-2025 Discretionary Places Admission

The application procedures for admission to Primary One by the Education Bureau has begun, application forms are now available via kindergarten, public enquiry service centre of District Offices or online. To apply for the coming Primary One Admission (2024-2025), parents are to complete the application procedures according to the following details:

1. Date: 25 September 2023 (Monday) to 29 September 2023 (Friday)
2. Time: 9:00am – 12:00noon & 2:00pm – 4:00pm
3. Venue: T010 Conference Room
4. Relevant Documents:
   1. The completed Application Form (three in one) or the downloaded version.
      • If parents apply with the downloaded application form, please do not fill in the P.1 application number on the top left corner.
   2. Applicant child’s original and photocopy of Hong Kong Birth Certificate
      • If the applicant child is a non-holder of Hong Kong birth certificate, the parent / guardian should provide the original and a photocopy of the applicant’s overseas birth certificate and proof of HKSAR residence.
      • Please note that the audit number in the lower right corner of the submitted copy of the Hong Kong Birth Certificate needs to be displayed in full, and the same number as the original that has been presented
   3. Parent’s / Guardian’s original of HK I.D. card, passport or other proofs of identity
      • If parent / guardian authorizes another party to submit the completed application form, the authorized person should provide the photocopy of the guardian’s /parent’s proof of Identity
   4. The original and a photocopy of the documentary proof of residential address should be shown
      • e.g. tenancy agreement with stamp duty, rates bill, public housing tenancy card, utility bills - water / electricity / gas / residential telephone, etc)
   5. If it is stated in the application that the applicant child’s sibling(s) is/are student(s) of this school, the parent / guardian should produce the original and a photocopy of the relevant documents
      • such as the original and a photocopy of applicant child’s sibling(s)’s birth certificate and
      • original and the photocopy of student profile on cover page and P.1 of the student handbook
      • Parents can present the sibling’s photo and can directly collect the new handbook and fill in the Student Information Form.
      • Please note that the audit number in the lower right corner of the submitted copy of the Hong Kong Birth Certificate needs to be displayed in full, and the same number as the original that has been presented
5. All students applying for discretionary places in Category (A) (student-applicants with sibling(s) studying or parent(s) working in the school) will be admitted.

7. Late or incomplete submission will not be taken into consideration.
8. Release of Admission List: 20 November 2023 (Monday).
9. Parents are to check the bulletin board at school or visit http://www.twghtwsps.edu.hk after 9:00am without prior notice.
