Vision and Mission:
- Promote a school wide reading ethos and develop good reading habits.
- Improve students' information literacy and become self-directed learners.
- Broaden the scope of students' reading and broaden their horizons.
- Through reading, students can acquire a wide variety of knowledge, skills and attitudes to become lifelong learners.
Features:
- A team of P.4 and P.6 librarians and a team of P.3 – P.6 reading ambassadors are formed to recommend good books to our students and to lead the school in developing good reading habits.
- Different means of media are used to promote good books and the benefits of reading through book sharing.
- Through activities such as “4.23 World Book Day Creative Competition”, “Reading Launch Ceremony” and “Bookworm Festival”, students can experience the joy of reading.
- Establish a library database, cooperate with different subject departments and refine self-learning kits.
